Will my insurance cover my visit?
We accept Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) and will check to see if services are covered under your plan. We also have private pay options.
My child receives services through Early Intervention (EI) or the school system, can they also receive services through private practice?

Yes! Additional services may produce faster gains when given a different approach, setting, and frequency. Studies have shown a higher frequency in therapy will likely result in faster gains. A smaller caseload at this private practice allows for a more personalized and attentive experience for the family and child. Parents or guardians may have different goals addressed at a private practice than EI or schools. Within the school system speech and language therapy is provided if a child's speech and language skills have a negative academic impact. In private practice, speech services are provided if there is a speech and language disorder present, regardless of academic impact.
How do I get started?
1. Call or email to schedule your free initial consultation to discuss your concerns.
2. Schedule an evaluation, either formal or informal, tailored to your concerns, or provide documentation from a recent evaluation.
3. Fill out a Client Intake Form, Release of Information Form, review HIPAA and Speak With Me RI, LLC policies forms.
4. Review evaluation results.
5. If therapy is recommended and agreed upon, a personalized schedule will be created that best fits the family and child.
Where do services take place?
Services will take place in our therapy room on the second floor of our building (888 Reservoir Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). We have a waiting area for parents and a restroom right next to our therapy room.
Services may also be offered via teletherapy using SkypeOnline or FaceTime if preferred and determined an appropriate fit for your child's service delivery.
